A village in mid-Batroun area, 12 km remote from the City. Its altitude is 450 m. It can be reached from Batroun across Edde and Smarjbeil.
Its Lady's parish church (As-Saydet) dates back to mid-18th century, but it was restored, and only one wall still remains from the old church.
This village has still-inhabited houses and mansions that are now 500 years old.
There is a handicraft "Artisanat" workshop with a variety of products.
